Awesome food perfect We celebrated our wedding there absolutely to be recommended.

The food is delicious and the ambience fits.

Very good food. As of October 17, 2020 The new owner has reached the same level as the old one. I don't understand some of the negative press here, looks like you want to badmouth the shop although there is absolutely nothing to complain about here. 5 Stars

Everything was right! ?

Food and service very good. For an Italian and the city of Rinteln, the prices, especially for the drinks, seem quite high to me.

We were there about half a year ago because we were passing through and relying on the Google reviews. The waitress was new, very clumsy and didn't know the menu. We found the ambience a bit cheap and old-fashioned. The food was ok, nothing special, but a bit too expensive. Overall, they didn't try too hard for us and so we didn't order another drink or dessert and then went somewhere else.

Always a pleasure. Great food, fast and attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a MUST!

I have known the Italia restaurant for a long time. After several visits in the past, the current visit in June 2020 was the first with a new operator of the restaurant. After some rather mediocre experience reports with the new operator from the circle of friends, I wanted to get my own picture. Due to the corona situation, I reserved a table the evening before. You could remember the call on Saturday evening in the restaurant, but not that it was today. Luckily, there was only one table left. When there was still no card after about 15 minutes, we got one on request. First of all, drinks were ordered and as a starter bruschetta + mini pizette. The main course was ordered about 10 minutes later. The drinks were brought quickly. Unfortunately not the food. After exactly 50 minutes after the first order, the starter was brought again on request. Quoting from the memory: "The restaurant is fully staffed and you make an effort" (fully staffed in Corona times, it would actually be more space). The bruschetta were delicious, but the mini pizzas were only lukewarm and. ramshackle. After about 10 more minutes, the main course was served. Penne with spinach and sheep's cheese and spaghetti with seafood. Both dishes were hot and tasted very good. The total amount and the amount of spinach and sheep cheese or seafood was also well coordinated. During the meal it started to rain heavily. A window was completely open, it had been raining through the window into the restaurant for several minutes, and the water ran like a stream onto the floor. Since nobody from the staff did anything (stood only about 3m further) I closed the window myself and pointed out the situation. In addition, no waiter came to the table and asked how the food was or someone else wanted to drink. Then they paid. In conclusion, the following should be said: Service: Extremely in need of improvement. The waiters were friendly but not very communicative, not very foresighted and apparently not motivated to generate sales. Waiting times too long until the starter! Food: Appetizer has apparently been ready in the kitchen for a long time! Nothing to complain about on the main course, good! I hope the responsible people read this report and take it as the basis for improvements in the operational process. If it goes on like this I see no future for this restaurant. It would be a shame for Rinteln and of course also for the employees. 2 stars because the main dishes were good, otherwise only one star would have been possible.

I would recommend the "restaurant" if you would like to wait hours for it. The cellars were inexperienced and umpteen wrong things (drinks / food) arrived. Even simple drinks like cola / beer was waited for a long time (20min). It was also apologized, but I don't think that should be possible. We then left after 2 hours because the meal should last another hour. I no longer set foot in this shop. If I could I would give 0 stars.

We were there today at noon! The food was delicious, the staff friendly, but a bit unsafe. Unfortunately there are only three stars, because we paid the same price for half a portion of fish (without potatoes, which we ordered ... but were not brought) as for a whole portion ... that was not available at Margitta . We will of course go there again because the ambience is very nice and the food is delicious ... but next time order a whole portion and take the rest with you ?

The food was good, there is nothing to complain about. The service was very friendly, but you have noticed with some waiters that they probably have not been there long. Due to the large number of guests we had to wait a long time for the food. On the whole, but a restaurant, where you can go quiet.

We were there for a Sunday dinner and we were completely satisfied. The staff were friendly, the food (pizza, cannelloni and salad) were delicious and portions were adequate. The food was served quickly and they took good care of us during the meal. The look of the building from the outside is unfortunately not so nice and got very old. But we are happy to come back.
